Clarets boss Sean Dyche put the disappointment of a non-productive transfer deadline day behind him to address members of the Burnley Bondholders scheme on Tuesday morning.
The event was the latest in a long line of highly-successful breakfast briefings organised for Burnley businesses who have signed up to the Bondholder scheme.
Around 150 Burnley organisations support the scheme which aims to promote the area on a local, regional and national stage.
Mr Dyche spoke of his frustration at not being able to add to his Premier League squad.
Burnley Football Club’s chief executive Lee Hoos also spoke to Bondholders.
The event, which was one of the best-ever attended, was staged in the James Hargreaves Stand at Turf Moor.
As well as listening to the two Turf Moor guests, attendees were given an insight on the ongoing plans for the continued regeneration of Burnley.
