A Burnley student has been recognised by some of the region’s top motor vehicle technicians.
Hamza Chaudry (18) from Burnley who is studying Level 2 Auto Electrical at Blackburn College, was one of a handful of motor vehicle students presented with an award for performance and excellent customer service.
The presentation ceremony held at the college’s Regional Automotive Technology Hub (RATH), also saw industry experts from car dealerships across the region from Simpson’s Skoda and Nissan attend.
Former Sir John Thursby student Hamza said the course was recommended by friends and his school. He plans to progress to university to study automotive engineering and hopes one day to work for Audi, AGM or Mercedes on their high performance cars.
He said: “I’m really pleased to have been presented with an award for my achievements.”
The RATH centre uses the latest equipment and technology to help deliver the skills the motor industry needs and is one of the largest in the region.
