Burnley Boohoo is part of a charity fund-raising mission which has just hit the £100,000 mark.
The Boohoo Group smashed its target this month thanks to the efforts of staff and fund-raising committee members from across the Burnley Distribution site, Manchester headquarters and the customer service centre.
The money has been raised in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust through a raft of fun and tough activities, including bake sales, a Manchester 10k, three half marathon, the sale of product samples to students across 12 locations in the UK, group-wide street parties and a Three Peaks challenge. A Christmas jumper was also designed, with £5 from each sale going to the charity.
Every day seven young people aged 13 to 24 are diagnosed with cancer, according to the charity. The money raised by Boohoo will help to ensure every young person with cancer has access to the best possible care and professional support, and will allow them to be treated by experts alongside people their own age.
