Burnley came to a standstill to observe a two minute's silence on Armistice Day on Saturday.
And the following day Remembrance Sunday saw wreath-laying ceremonies and parades across the borough.
War veterans were joined by local uniformed groups and civic dignitaries for the service in the Peace Garden in Burnley town centre for the official ceremonies.
That was followed by a parade to the town's war memorial in Towneley Park where more wreaths were laid.
