Burnley motorist arrested on suspicion of drink driving after police use 'stinger' to halt vehicle being driven erractically
Police used a 'stinger' to stop a vehicle in Burnley after it was spotted being driven erratically.
The car was 'stung' with the tyre deflation device after the driver failed to stop for officers last night.
Burnley and Padiham police officers arrested the driver on suspicion of drink driving, failing to stop, no insurance and unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle.
The vehicle has also been recovered.
