Burnley man in court after police find him with children's chocolate egg fllled with crack cocaine and heroin

A man, who was found with a children's Kinder egg containing crack cocaine and heroin, is due before magistrates this afternoon.

Police officers from the Burnley and Padiham Neighbourhood and Targeted Crime Team detained Fayjul Haque (26) on Windermere Avenue, Burnley, yesterday.

He was found to be in possession of a large quantity of cash and a mobile phone. Officers carried out a thorough search and the chocolate egg, containing Class A drugs namely crack cocaine and heroin was found hidden on his person.

Following further searches, interviews and drugs analysis Haque, of Fifth Avenue, has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs and will appear before the Bench at Blackburn Magistrates Court.
