Burnley man (25) faces jail over child sex offences

A 25-YEAR-OLD man is facing jail, after admitting a string of child sex offences.

Abdul Muhid admitted five counts of sexual activity with a child, six charges of possessing an indecent photo of a child and four allegations of making an indecent photo of a child.

The defendant was bailed until September 26th for a pre-sentence report. Muhid must live in Saxon Street, Burnley, not contact the victim and is banned from working with children under 16. A sexual offences prevention order is also due to be made.

At Burnley Crown Court, Judge Jonathan Gibson warned him: “You do face a custodial sentence.”
