The prize for winning this year’s challenge is that Crow Wood will be able to nominate a Burnley school, who will receive £7,500 worth of Technogym® exercise equipment and training, to help school children get active.

Oliver Brown, director of Crow Wood Leisure, said: “The commitment of our members to the “Let’s Move for a Better World” campaign has once again been absolutely fantastic.

“Hundreds of our members signed up for the challenge and we saw an increase in the average number of workouts per member, all contributing to the collective MOVEs total.

“We are the only UK health club to get more than three million MOVEs during a Technogym challenge and now we’ve done it twice. This has seen us contribute almost £20,000 worth of exercise equipment to Burnley schools, with Wellfield being last year’s winner.

“We’re urging local people to share our tweet or Facebook post about the challenge and nominate the local school of their choice.

“We’ll then choose a winner from the nominations,” added Mr Brown.
