Burnley firefighters battle large rubbish blaze in early hours of the morning

Firefighters were called out to tackle a large rubbish fire in Worsthorne in the early hours of this morning.

Two fire engines from Burnley raced to Brownside Road at 3-40am to the blaze inside a derelict building.

Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
