Due to huge demand for tickets for the Boxing Day clash with Liverpool, Burnley Football Club has made an offer to season ticket holders unable to attend.
A spokesman today said: “Every game, we have a number of non-attending season ticket holders. The introduction of access control has provided the platform for non-attending season ticket holders to provide another Burnley fan with tickets to matches.
“Games such as Liverpool, where demand exceeds supply, offer a great benefit to all parties.
“Seats are clearly in demand for this game, so the club is offering 500 Teamcard points (per adult ticket) or 250 points (per concession ticket) to anyone prepared to release their unused seat(s) for this game. Please note U10 tickets in the Jimmy McIlroy Stand do not qualify for this offer.
“Should the seat(s) be sold, a further 1,500 Teamcard points for the adult ticket, or 750 for the concession ticket will be allocated to the owner’s account, which are then redeemable at the Clarets Store.
“By this provision, the club aims to make available a number of seats for immediate sale.”
Anyone wishing to offer up their ticket for this game should contact the ticket office in person during normal business hours; email Ticketoffice@burnleyfc.com or telephone: 0871 221 1914 (opt 2)
