Burnley FC legend Jimmy McIlroy opens Pendle Beer Festival in Colne

The seventh Pendle Beer Festival has kicked off at the Muni in Colne after being formally opened by Burnley FC legend Jimmy McIlroy. With more than 140 beers and ciders ordered, and a Witches and Wizards theme, this year’s festival promises to be the biggest and the best.

The weekend hours for today and tomorrow are from 11-30 a.m. till 11 p.m., so get down and sample some of the country’s finest eerie ales and chilling ciders.

Entry to the beer festival today is £3 before, and £5 after 6 p.m., and is £3 all day tomorrow.

Admission is free for CAMRA members but if you join CAMRA at the event your entrance fee will be refunded.
