BURNLEY DOUBLE MURDER: Victims’ photos released

POLICE have released these pictures of the two men found dead at a house in Brunshaw earlier this month.

The bodies of James Atkinson and Neil Gilmore, both 55, were discovered at a ground-floor flat in Waddington Avenue, Brunshaw, on Tuesday, October 5th.

Police said the photograph of Mr Atkinson was taken 18 years ago while the one of Mr Gilmore is around 25 years old.

Kenneth Howson (25), of Williams Road, and Daniel Waddington (22), of Pine Street, both Burnley, have been charged with murdering the men.

Lee Howson (18), of Williams Road, has been charged with perverting the course of justice in connection with the incident.
