THREE rings were stolen following a burglary that left a Burnley home “ransacked”,

Every cupboard was gone through in a Castlerigg Drive flat, between 8am and 4-30pm on June 11th. The offender also searched the freezer.

The property was entered after the lock from the front door was removed.

A gold ring with a blue stone and diamond setting worth £100 was taken, while a gold wishbone ring with a blue stone worth £150 was also stolen.

A small silver ring worth £20 has also gone missing.

Fingerprints have been submitted.

A MAN has been arrested after stealing a rucksack full of goods from cars in and around the vicinity of a Burnley cinema.

Six cars were targeted around Apollo Cinema on Manchester Road on June 13th, between 8-30am and 7-20pm.

Three were parked on the car park, while the other three were on Springhill Road.

The window of one of the vehicles was smashed, and contents were taken from within.

Further investigations are currently underway.
