Burnley cricket hero Jimmy Anderson helps England to victory in the Ashes
Despite having to dash home to the UK between the second and third tests Down Under for the birth of his first child, the fast bowler (28), who grew up and played his first cricket in Burnley, was a leading light in the England offensive.
Hailed as the “undisputed leader” of England’s pace attack against the Aussies, Anderson now has 205 Test wickets to his name and is being rated as among the best fast bowlers in the world.
