Burnley is set to be filled with festive cheer as a raft of Christmas markets and events arrive in town.
Mulled wine, crafts, food and music will help get shoppers in the Christmas spirit, starting with Burnley College’s Winter Wonderland, which runs tomorrow between 10am and 3pm.
There will be an ice rink, handmade gifts and treats filling the college on Princess Way. Attractions include live music, a giant gingerbread man, bouncy castles and fun rides for children.
Father Christmas will make an appearance with a team of elves, who will be inviting visitors to join the present-making workshop.
On Sundays, Father Christmas will be staging a tea party in Burnley Market. These will be held December 13th and 20th at noon and will include music, presents, food and a magic show.
Tickets are £5 and can be bought from Burnley Markets’ Gemma’s Cafe, Claire’s Tearooms, Ola Portugal, Mama’s Czech Kitchen, Jerky’s Caribbean Kitchen and Joy’s Fast Food.
