Burnley Catenian celebrates four decades of membership

The Burnley Catenians, a non-political Catholic group who meet socially on a monthly basis, have celebrated a member's 40th anniversary of joining.

Derek Gill has been a member of the Burnley Circle of the Catenian Association for four decades, with the association recognising the anniversary at a dinner at Burnley Football Club.

Derek, Chairman of Lupton & Place Ltd and a former BFC Director, has served the Association in a variety of roles, including three spells as Circle President.

In celebration, he was presented with a framed scroll and flowers were given to his wife, Kathleen, before he said that he had enjoyed his 40 years and had gained many friend throughout the Association.
