A Burnley-born magician has conjured up a hit with holiday-makers in Spain by opening his own theatre.
Matt Wright, who has travelled the world in recent years learning his trade, now runs the Chamber of Secrets in the Spanish resort of Torremolinos with partner Alarna Love.
Matt (40), who hails from Duke Bar, said he is proud that the theatre has been ranked the number one attraction in the whole region of Andalusia according to TripAdvisor.
He said: “My fiancé Alarna and I came here in March to open a very unique magic theatre. It holds 40 people and is a mix of magic, comedy, singing, illusion, mind reading and puppetry.
“In just two months we have become TripAdvisor’s number one nightlife entertainment for the entire area of Andalusia.
“That includes the historical tourist cities of Cordoba and Seville as well as all the more traditional British holiday spots of the entire Costa del Sol such as Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Fuengirola.

The former St Theodore’s RC High School pupil has been working as a magician, at home and abroad, for many years now and has won several awards for his talent.
In 2007 he fulfilled a life-long dream by becoming a member of the Inner Magic Circle.
And in 2011 Matt was selected by the Federation of the International Society of Magicians to compete in the magic World Championships.
He added: “The theatre show is all inclusive show. That’s unlimited lager, sangria and soft drinks throughout the show.
“We have had lots of Burnley people in to visit already this year and expect a lot more during the holidays.”
