A GROUP of youngsters from Burnley stuffed their mouths with marshmallows in a bid to break a world record.
The young people, aged from 16 to 25, who were part of the Youth On The Up project, filmed themselves during the attempt to see if they could beat the Guinness World Record for the number of sweets they could fit into their mouths.
They then uploaded the video to the Guinness website and are waiting to find out if their bid was a success.
Youth On The Up is a lottery-funded scheme designed to help young people who are not in employment, education or training, develop a career path, build confidence and improve motivation.
At the end of the course they were awarded accreditations from examination board AQA and all those on the course have moved on to further education or training.
