Boohoo staff raise £900 for Pendleside Hospice
Kind-hearted staff at a Burnley online clothing retailer raised more than £900 for Pendleside Hospice. Employees from Boohoo.com, in Widow Hill Road, collected the cash over the festive period '“ the company's busiest time '“ through a Christmas jumper day and raffle.
Staff handed the money over to Sharon Borrowdale and Vikki Bassek from the hospice. Sarah Goodall, from Boohoo’s HR department, said: “Boohoo are supporters of Pendleside Hospice and we tend to give them all our charity donations.
“Staff from the hospice came and we presented the cheque to them.”
