Bishop blesses '˜sacred space' at primary school
The Bishop of Salford Diocese visited a Burnley primary school to say Mass and open a new facility.
The Rt Rev. John Arnold was invited to St John the Baptist RC Primary School in Thames Avenue.
Headteacher Mrs Sarah Price said: “We were thrilled to welcome Bishop John Arnold to school.
“He helped to celebrate Mass with us in school marking the Feast of St Peter and St Paul, and then blessed our new outdoor sacred space area.
“It was lovely to welcome him to our school.”
