Author Colin is special guest at Padiham Library

Padiham Library welcomed local author Colin Goodwin into its fold to celebrate World Book Night.

Colin read from his first novel “Don’t Get Mad Get Even” which is set in the windswept northern village of Throttle, and he discussed how he developed the novel over several years.

The story focuses on a local cricket team and the machinations of Roland Bullock who gives an ultimatum to the cricket club – win a trophy by the end of the season or we take back the ground you play on and sell it for development.

“He has since had the second book in the series published which is titled When in a hole Stop Digging and he is currently working on the last book in the trilogy.”
