Attempted ‘armed’ robbery at Barrowford store
Robbers have targeted an off-licence in Barrowford tonight.
Police were called to the shop, in Gisburn Road, around 7-30pm after two men burst in and demanded money.
A police spokesman said the incident is ongoing and rumours on social networking sites are that the men threatened staff with a sword, although that has not been confirmed by officers.
