Associate headteacher appointed at sixth form

Mr Conboy’s role will be to consult widely with governors, students, parents and the local community to identify the best plan for the next chapter in the school’s history.

Mr Conboy is an experienced headteacher of 13 years. He was head at Fisher More RC High School in Colne and spent eight years at a school in Lancaster for 11-18-year-olds.

Mr Conboy said: “I am extremely proud and delighted to have been asked by the governors to take on such a stimulating and rewarding role.”

Thomas Whitham Sixth Form will be holding a “Meet Your Headteacher” session for parents and carers on Wednesday December 2nd from 1-30-4-30pm.
