ASBO for teen who terrorised Kibble Bank estate
Baby-faced Wayne Lord (18), of Sedburgh Street, was slapped with the two-year ASBO at Burnley Magistrates’ Court.
The action followed months of evidence gathering by Burnley Community Safety Partnership about his repeated anti-social behaviour in the Kibble Bank estate, including verbally abusing residents, drinking, intimidation and damage.

“He is responsible for a large amount of anti-social behaviour in the area whil under the influence of alcohol and drugs which has had a negative impact on the quality of life for residents.
“We have acted on the concerns raised by the community and I hope this order will go some way in reassuring the community action has been taken.”
The order states he must not enter an area of Burnley on the Kibble Bank estate between Hillingdon Road North, Marsden Road and Underley Street. He must not cause harassment, alarm or distress to anyone in the Burnley area and must not use abusive or threatening language including hand gestures towards anyone in Burnley. He must not associate with two named teenagers in the Burnley area.
