Artist donates painting dedicated to a loved one
East Lancashire Hospice was thrilled to receive a painting from Clitheroe-based artist Angela Baptie, entitled “Green Landscape: Pendle in Spring”.
Angela, who recently gained a first class honours degree in Fine Art, commented: “We lost a very close member of our family to cancer earlier this year. ‘Green Landscape: Pendle in Spring’ was created during a difficult time. I wanted to donate the painting to a hospice close to Pendle Hill. It is dedicated to Fay.”
East Lancashire Hospice Fundraising Manager Sharon Crymble commented: “We were thrilled to receive the painting from Angela and it has certainly been enjoyed by patients and visitors alike.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Angela for her generous gift.”
