Appeal for help in tracing missing man

Police are trying to locate a man missing from his home in Burnley.

Glenn Fitzgerald (50) was last seen by his partner at his address on Stansfield Street at around midnight last night (Tuesday).

He is thought to have left the property shortly after and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Sgt Lee Turner from Burnley Police said: “We, along with his family, are very concerned for Mr Fitzgerald’s state of mind and so I urge anyone who may have seen him or knows where he is to get in touch.

“Similarly, if Glenn himself sees this appeal, I would urge him to contact us or a family member to let us know he is okay.”

Mr Fitzgerald was last seen wearing a black polo shirt, navy blue tracksuit bottoms, grey Regatta jacket and grey Karrimor hiking boots.

He is described as white, 5ft 10in, of stocky build and has piercings between his eyebrows and one over each nostril.

He also has a number of tattoos including a spider web across his neck, one arm covered with women and tribal symbols, another arm half covered with black and red colouring, a dog on one side of his waist and a woman on the other side.
