Alison marks 40 years at Marsden Building Society

building Society stalwart Alison Armfield had her own special anniversary date when the Queen celebrated her Diamond Jubilee.

The nation’s special weekend also marked 40 years’ service with the Marsden for Alison, who is manager of the society’s Colne branch in Albert Road, and lives in Burnley.

She joined the society in 1972 and worked in the investment and mortgage departments at the main office in Russell Street, Nelson, before her talents took her to the retail network and she became a familiar face in offices across the area. Before moving to Colne she also managed the society’s branch offices in Barrowford, Nelson and Burnley.
