Children from 22 Burnley schools took part in a special fun run around Towneley Park.
More than 800 pupils completed the ‘Go Run For Fun’ one-mile dash around the park on Wednesday last week.
The runners were joined by British 10,000m track champion Jonny Mellor.
There have now been more than 100 ‘Go Run For Fun’ events throughout the country.
The ‘Go Run For Fun’ Foundation aims to help transform youngsters’ lifestyles and was set up Jim Ratcliffe, a scottish manufacturer.
More than £1.5m has been donated to the charity by Mr Ratcliffe’s company INEOS over a three-year period.
