Led Zeppelin tribute band Whole Lotta Led to rock Blackburn

A WHOLE Lotta rock ‘n’ roll awaits die-hard Led Zeppelin fans next week.

Led Zeppelin tribute perfectionists Whole Lotta Led are playing King George’s Hall, Blackburn, for the Led Zeppelin IV 40th Anniversary Show on Friday, June 10th.

It was on November 8th, 1971, that Led Zeppelin released what was to become one of the greatest albums of all time – “Led Zeppelin IV”.

And to celebrate its 40th anniversary, Whole Lotta Led are hitting the road for a special series of shows.

The first half of the show will consist of a selection of songs from Led Zeppelin’s vast back catalogue.

The second half features the whole of Led Zeppelin IV played in the same sequence as the original LP.

Undoubtedly one of the most hard-working tribute bands around, the four-piece play more than 100 gigs a year to enthusiastic audiences of all ages and have now played more than 1,100 shows.

The current line-up has now been together for 11 years and conprises Nick Ferris on guitar, Geoff Hunt on bass, Graham Twist on drums and Lee Addison on vocals and harmonica.
