New kitchen showroom to open in Read

Local businessman Mark Harrison is returning to his home town to develop a derelict building into a stylish kitchen showroom for his company Stuart Frazer.

The new showroom in Read will be launched in Autumn and create local employment opportunities, as well as bringing high-end kitchens to even more people across Lancashire.

Mr Harrison said: “The economy is on the move and with house prices creeping up and pent up demand being unleashed, now is the right time for Stuart Frazer to expand and Read is the right place.

“As the economy starts to turn around, people are revisiting the luxury things in life that they have put on hold for the past five years, like a new kitchen or even a new home.”

The new Read showroom will complement Stuart Frazer’s Manchester and Preston outlets and provide opportunites for experienced staff in sales and management as well as new graduates.

The company is also expanding its award-winning design team and looking for new design talent. The Read showroom will be home to Stuart Frazer’s wide-range of luxury SieMatic kitchens, giving customers the chance to browse and see the kitchens in real-life settings.
