As with all of Miller Homes’ developments, the housebuilder always looks to make contributions to the area it builds in. As part of its planning agreement, the housebuilder will make contributions of £870,000 towards education, public transport, town centre upgrade works and off-site leisure.

The purchase of the site is scheduled for the end of August, with construction work to start mid-September. The unveiling of the first homes is anticipated for spring 2021.

Ian Smith, regional managing director for Miller Homes North West, said: “Clitheroe is an attractive town which benefits from a rural location but has good transport links to the main towns and cities in the North West. It will certainly be a great location for families, especially with highly-regarded schools in the area.”
