Endsleigh announced the planned move in September, with the promise of an extra 100 jobs created over the coming year.

A spokesman for Endsleigh said: “We are moving to a new space because it is better for our current and future needs.

“The business will all be located on one floor rather than spread across four floors as it is at the moment, and this will allow for a more dynamic working environment. The new site will feature updated equipment.

Burnley Council has supported the move and helped us to find a new premises.

“There will be more information on the types of roles available in the coming months.

“The aim is to move into the new premises in January 2016.”

Nolan Redshaw has been appointed as sole agents to bring the 31,000sq ft. five-storey office building to the market.

Jonathan Pickles, Agency Surveyor at Nolan Redshaw, said: “This a major opportunity for a developer or a large office occupier to acquire a landmark building in the heart of Burnley, benefiting from the surrounding amenities the town has to offer.

“The business who eventually take on the premises will enjoy excellent transport links to the national motorway network and Greater Manchester.”

The site would suit alternative uses to offices subject to the appropriate planning consent being granted.
