Faye goes back to classroom to secure estate agent qualification

A PADIHAM woman who works for a Burnley estate agents is celebrating after gaining new qualifications.

Faye Broadley (24), sales negotiator at Petty’s in Manchester Road, passed the highly regarded NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents) Technical Award and her NVQ Level 3 in the sale of residential property.

Faye has spent the past 12 months studying an intensive distance learning course tailored for those with high levels of responsibility in an estate agency role.

Topics covered included how to implement an effective marketing strategy, providing pertinent and relevant advice to prospective buyers, understanding valuations and building defect recognition, as well as effective negotiation, on the sale of properties.

Faye said: “This course has allowed me to become skilled and confident in areas of the estate agency I wouldn’t have normally been involved in. I am certainly looking forward to putting all this knowledge into practice and hopefully building on my career with Petty’s as it will open doors for me in areas such as valuation and marketing which I have always been interested in.”
