The Tim Bobbin pub in Padiham Road has seen the gates of its rear car park locked and its doors shut in recent weeks.

A popular local watering hole, the pub underwent a significant and costly refurbishment in 2015, which returned it to its original layout.

The Burnley Express has contacted owners Samuel Smith's Brewery for comment, but has not received a reply.

The former coach house is named after the author of Lancashire dialect poetry John Collier who used the pseudonym of Tim Bobbin.
