5. The Royal Standard of England
Located in Beaconsfield, The Royal Standard of England is a popular spot among locals and tourists. Reportedly dating back to the Saxon times, it apparently survived the raids of the Dark Ages due to its secluded location. 6. Ye Olde Fighting Cocks

7. Ye Olde Salutation Inn
Nottingham based pub, Ye Olde Salutation Inn was formerly an alehouse, reportedly built in 1240, with a rich history. Previous landlords have claimed to have had encounters with ghosts in the pub, which is why it is visited as part of the Original Nottingham Ghost Walk.
