If you are looking for work, it might be worth taking a look at this list of hiring industries before you start
A survey carried out by Totaljobs has revealed that 70 per cent of job seekers are now more likely to consider working in a different industry due to the pandemic.
At the start of lockdown in March, unemployment surged by 125.9 per cent, accounting for more than 1.6 million people looking for work. This has made competition for jobs fierce. So, to help job seekers, here’s a list of the industries which are most likely to be hiring.

5. Cleaners
With restrictions on home visitations easing, the past month has been great for cleaning businesses as people begin to return to work or look for help while they balance childcare with home working. 6. Personal trainers
Health coaching has experienced a boost during lockdown, thanks to demand for online personal training classes skyrocketing while people were stuck indoors. With more people getting into fitness and health, this is a great time to be a personal trainer. Photo: Shutterstock

7. Public sector work
When lockdown began, public sector jobs rose by 107 per cent, making this one of the best sectors for finding a job, according to a quarterly job market report from job board CV-Library. 8. Warehouse workers/delivery drivers
