With just three previous owners and fewer than 48,000km on the clock the TV car is a rare example of an already rare car - only around 100 are thought to remain on the road in the UK.
The car was bought by the show’s presenting team Drew Pritchard and Paul Cowland before undergoing a thorough restoration inside and out to bring it up to its current standard.

Nothing has been missed – this is an example of how a restoration should be done. And being a TV star, you get extra kudos when you take it out to car shows and the like. It’s just a wonderful machine.”
The auction goes live on Thursday, 11 February and carries a guide price of £24,000 to £28,000.
Launched in 1955 and enjoying a 20-year lifespan, the DS was famous for its futuristic looks and technology.
