The feeder event to the Family Motorshow on the May 28th brought hundreds of vehicles of all types to Rolls-Royce Leisure in Barnoldswick.

Owners of vehicles were invited along to bring their beloved machines to show them off and have a chat with like-minded enthusiasts over a coffee. Bikes, trucks and cars of all types were on display from rare Escort Cosworths and Noble Supercars to owners clubs from Jensen, MG and Audi.

The combination of a growing presence with owners and some spectacular weather made this the busiest event yet for Powerfest.

Organiser Chris Walker said “We are slowly getting to know all of the local owners but at least two-thirds of what we have seen today are new to us. The team is delighted with how far news of what we are doing is spreading and it can only help our continued efforts to raise funds for good causes”

The overriding discussion topic from people new to our events was how friendly and relaxed the atmosphere was and a huge leap away from some more traditional, vehicle specific events.
