A cyclist was stopped and fined by police for riding his bike along the hard shoulder of the M65.

The incident happened earlier today (Sunday).
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "For those not sure, pedal cyclists are not permitted to cycle down the hard shoulder. This rider was taken off the M65 and given a fine."
