Samlesbury Hall, Preston New Road, Samlesbury Samlesbury Hall, a popular stately home in Lancashire, is a haven for history lovers, where the past meets the present - and it makes for a fantastic family day out. Enjoy intrigue, witchcraft and centuries of fascinating history throughout the archive rooms. From the Victorian kitchen, schoolroom and the 1950s bedroom, there is plenty to see, along with changing exhibitions in the Long Gallery. Samlesbury Hall is open to visitors all year round, Tuesday to Friday, and Sundays, 11am until 4pm, though do check opening times before visiting as these are subject to change.
