The increasing rate of coronavirus cases across Lancashire has put a number of areas of the region on red alert.

These are the current coronavirus testing sites across Lancashire

If you begin exhibiting symptoms, this is what you need to know, and where you can get tested in Lancashire.

Anyone with coronavirus symptoms, including, a high temperature, a new, continuous cough, a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste, can get a test.

Walk-through testing site | 42 Blackburn Rd, Accrington BB5 1LA | Monday to Friday, 10am - 2.45pm - Closes this Friday (September 11) *New location to be announced for September 14

You can also get a test if you live with someone who has symptoms, or if you are told to get a test before being admitted to hospital or taking part in a Government testing scheme.

As most sites currently require you to book, please check with your local authority before visiting a testing centre.

Some testing centres where local lockdown restrictions are in place, including Preston, may also offer testing at certain sites if you do not have any symptoms.

Mobile testing site | Corporation Park, Preston New Road, Blackburn BB2 6AY | Open 11am – 6pm seven days a week.
Permanent drive-through testing site | Old Bank Lane, Blackburn BB1 2PW, outside Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Mobile testing site | Penny Street car park, Blackburn BB1 6HQ | Open 11am-6pm seven days a week.
Walk-through testing site | Car park opposite Burnley bus station on Centenary Way | Open Monday to Sunday, 10am - 3pm
Walk-through testing site | Darwen BB3 3EH | Open Monday to Sunday, 8am–8pm
Mobile testing site | Nelson Street Car Park, Nelson Street, Lancaster | The government’s mobile testing centre will be available on September 15 and 16, and September 23 and 24.
Drive-through testing site | Walton-le-Dale Park and Ride, Capitol Centre, Preston PR5 4AW
Walk-through testing site | Lancaster Road, Preston | Open Monday to Saturday, 10am - 3pm
Walk-through testing site | Lord St, Southport PR8 1DA
Walk-through testing site | Moor Park Avenue, Preston | Open Monday to Saturday, 10am - 3pm. *This site opens on Monday, September 14 and replaces the testing site at Issa Medical Centre in St Gregory's Road
