Sponsored walk boost for dog rescue charity
A sponsored walkies has helped raise money for the Search and Rescue Dog Association.
Staff at Oakmount Veterinary Centre have thanked everybody who sponsored their 20 mile walk from Gargrave to Burnley along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
The Trafalgar Street centre raised £514.06 for the charity and presented it to SARDA volunteer Steven Garofalo who stopped by with his dog Finn.
Finn a nine-year-old collie, and Stephen have attended more than 100 emergency call outs during their time with SARDA.
