The pools and gyms at Pendle Wavelengths, Pendle Leisure Centre and West Craven Sports Centre will reopen on Saturday, July 25th; with all fitness classes and the gym and track at Seedhill Athletics and Fitness Centre reopening on Monday, July 27th.

Inside Spa will also reopen for body and beauty – excluding facial – treatments on the Saturday.

Due to Government restrictions in place, all classes, gym and swimming sessions – as well as Inside Spa treatments – will have to be pre-booked. These will be available to book from Monday, July 20th.

All centres have been thoroughly, deep cleaned and new restrictions and health and safety measures – complying with Government guidelines – are in place, including social distancing, one-way systems, contactless payments and hand wash stations installed, to welcome our customers back.

Additional time will also be allocated for staff to thoroughly clean each area after each session, class or treatment.

Alison Goode, chief executive of Pendle Leisure Trust, said: “This is the news we have been waiting for and we are delighted we can eventually reopen our leisure facilities for the people of Pendle.

“Our main priority is our customers and we have made sure all the correct procedures are in place so they feel safe to return. Things will obviously look a little different, but our trained staff will be on hand to make sure everyone is guided through the changes and feel safe in returning.

“Unfortunately, the spa itself, The Muni Theatre and The ACE Centre will remain closed until we hear otherwise – but we are hoping it will be in the not too distant future.”
