Farmers meeting addresses ovine health
Ensuring that sheep stay in good condition is paramount, with both OPA (Ovine Pulmonary Adenocarcinoma) and Johne’s Disease likely to lower the health, welfare, and productivity of a flock.
The meeting is schedule at Craven Cattle Mart in Skipton on Tuesday, 8th November at which Chris Cousens and Craig Watkins from Moredun will be joined by a local vet to outline what is known about these diseases from biology to diagnosis. They will also discuss the latest research advances in the control and prevention to help minimise losses and protect health and welfare.
