Energy company donates £3,000 to help keep Pendleside Hospice open

Nelson-based energy management company, Businesswise Solutions has donated £3,000 towards the Pendleside Hospice ‘Keep Your Hospice Open’ campaign.

Pendleside Hospice is fighting to keep its doors open due to the direct and indirect impact of Covid19 and is looking to raise £1m., the income they estimate to have lost so far.

Frazer Durris, chief executive of Businesswise Solutions, said: “So many families in the Pendle area receive support from Pendleside Hospice every year and they need contributions more than ever to keep up the amazing work they do.

"Vital funds, such as these, will allow the hospice to continue to be there for anyone who needs them at this time of national crisis, and the hospice has already made plans for Businesswise’s donation.

"Our donation will be used to purchase Type IIR face masks to protect patients, staff and visitors. Also the immediate renovation of one of the rooms to reopen a new outpatient clinic, which allows more access for local people that need support.”
