Colne pupils' postcards with love to care home residents
Thoughtful pupils at a Colne primary have written to residents of a local care home to cheer them up during the coronavirus outbreak.
Year 1 and 2 pupils at Lord Street Primary School wrote postcards to the residents in the local nursing home Albert House.
Teacher Kat Doyle said: "The children of Year 1 and 2 thought it would be a lovely idea to make pictures and write postcards to the residents.
"Through all of this doom and gloom it's good to keep everyone's spirits up."
