Burnley songstress (10) hits the right note with her Covid 19 version of classic song from smash hit musical

The British family who have gone viral with their lockdown version of One Day More, from the hit musical Les Miserables, were the inspiration for a talented 10-year-old Burnley girl.

Impressed by the Marsh family's rendition of the hit song with lyrics adapted to the current pandemic, Isobel Parker decided to follow suit with her Covid 19 version of On My Own, another song from the show.

And she belts out the solo about unrequited love with aplomb using her own lyrics about empty pavements and hospitals full of patients.

Isobel said: "I love this song and I hope it brings people in isolation some joy."

A pupil at St Mary Magdalene's Primary School in Burnley Isobel is also a member of Basics Theatre School and made her stage debut in 2018 playing the role of young Cosette in Les Miserables.

Isobel, who lives with her older brother Dylan (13) and their mum, Michelle Barlow, sings in her school choir and would love to be an actress and singer when she grows up.
