Burnley Market Hall to fully close
Burnley Market Hall is to close completely from the end of business on Saturday due to the coronavirus outbreak.

A small portion of the market hall had remained open for the sale of fresh meat, pies and fruit and veg, but will now close over the next couple of days.
The hall will re-open once the situation allows.
All market hall traders will receive 100% business rate relief and a £10,000 hardship grant from the Government to help them cover their overheads.
Burnley Council is working to process the payments of these grants as quickly as possible and is supporting traders to access support for their employees where applicable.
