Whalley pupil Thomas is top of the class!
The next generation of budding inventors have been busy thinking about their innovative and inspiring creations.
During lockdown, pupils from Oakhill school took part in The Great Exhibition at Home competition, which got the youngsters thinking about what they would invent to benefit the world.
A spokesman for the Whalley-based school said: "There were some amazing ideas and 19 pupils received certificates of commendation, however, Year 10 pupil Thomas Pugh impressed the judges with his fantastic GymGenerator idea and was awarded a special commendation prize as his entry was one of the top entries across the whole of the country!
"This was an amazing achievement and we are extremely proud of him."
