These Burnley College students are looking to a bright future after 'exceptional' A-Level grades

It was a day to remember for a large number of Burnley College students who achieved 'exceptional' A-Level results.

Burnley College achieved an overall A-Level pass rate of 99.8%; 96% of A-Level students achieved at least one A*-C grade; 73% of A-Level students achieved at least one A*-B grade and a 34% of A-Level students achieved at least one A* or A grade.

Students achieving exceptional grades included:

- Chris Kilgallon (18), from Burnley, a former Unity College pupil, is considering his options after receiving offers to study Mathematics at the Universities of Cambridge, Durham and Manchester after achieving A*A*A in A Level Further Mathematics, Mathematics and Physics.
